Hangar Door and Drainage Upgrades at 4400 Stark Street

Vancouver Airport Authority is proposing to conduct upgrades to the hangar building located at 4400 Stark Street at the Vancouver International Airport in Richmond, B.C. The proposed project will replace the hangar doors and improve drainage for the building and apron.

The Proposed Project

The project consists of replacing the hangar doors, upgrading foundations, installing new drainage including 200m of culvert with a new outlet at an existing drainage ditch.

The total project area is approximately 300 sqm.

October 26, 2022  – The Vancouver Airport Authority issued its Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
