Freedom Mobile Installation on Radio Tower Site, North Pender Island

Freedom Mobile is proposing collocating new facilities at an existing radio tower located at N48° 47' 0.74'', W-123° 17' 56" on Cramer Hill, North Pender Island, near Roe Lake. The radio tower is currently occupied by Rogers Communications, Telus Communications and NAV Canada. The proposed project includes small excavations and backfilling, installing concrete slab (~2m x 3m), cabinets and cable trays and installing various support equipment, and brush clearing. All project components will take place within an existing fenced compound. Access to the site is via an existing gated road. Proposed work is to take place after summer 2020 and be conducted by a third party contractor. This project will be assessed with a basic impact assessment.
