Amix Pile and Float Removal

The Proposed Project

Amix Salvage & Sales Ltd. proposes to remove existing dock structures from their Surrey marine facility in order to vacate the property. The project consists of the removal of three dock structures and associated piles (ten 91.5 cm steel piles) from the water lot in the Fraser River. The piles will be removed using a barge mounted vibratory hammer and docks will be towed to another facility. The project is proposed to commence in early February 2020 and will take up to four days to complete.

The Vancouver Fraser Port Authority has determined that the proposed Amix Pile and Float Removal project, located in a water lot adjacent to 12021 Musqueam Drive in Surrey, B.C. is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. .
