Saiyatchapis Sanitary Sewer

The proposed works include the construction of an access road between Iwachis Place and Wattys Road, and construction of a sanitary sewer collection system along Saiyatchapis Road, from Ecoole Place to the existing sewermain on Highway 4. Geotechnical, archaeological and environmental investigations (incl. a Phase 1 ESA) were completed between 2018 and 2023 (from feasibility to design). Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMP) for boht phases of the project were also prepared in 2023. Archaeological and environmental monitoring will be provided during construction. According to these reports, no significant environmental impacts are anticipated as long as mitigation measures are implemented.
