Installation of Eight Steel Pipe Piles - Project Permit No. 18-184 - Extension to the Expiry Date

The permit holder, Island Tug and Barge Limited, proposes to carry out physical activities related to the installation of eight steel pipe piles up until December 31, 2021. The installation of the piles has been delayed for various reasons and work cannot proceed until after the fisheries sensitive period, therefore, an extension to the permit is required to complete the work in late 2021. This would require an extension to the approved project permit No. 18-184, which currently has an expiry date of February 28, 2021.

The installation of the piles at the permit holder's facility is for the purpose of vessel moorage and vessel to vessel fuel lightering.
