Installation of Pole Lights

The Installation of Pole Lights is required at Annacis Marine Base on Annacis Island to increase site illumination in the parking lot for safety and security reasons. The lights will also be upgraded to LED. The project will require the installation of six (6) prefabricated metal lamps along the northest portion of the site and six (6) prefabricated metal lamps along the south side. Trenching will be required to installed underground conduits. The location of the pole installation is on paved ground, but a portion of the trenching will be required on existing rip rap slope and unpaved areas. The trenching will be within 10-15m of the Fraser River.


Latest update

May 12, 2021 – The authority issued its Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
