Steveston Paramount Maintenance Dredging

Steveston harbour is on the Fraser river and subject to constant sediment deposition, and as such maintenance dredging is required annually. Access to this harbour is currently restricted and entry and exit plans are based on tide levels.  This project consists of dredging of up to 20,000m3 with disposal at sea.  Completion of this maintenance dredging work will ensure that critical areas within the basin are dredged to a depth which will ensure safe navigation for vessels and safe harbour operations to support commercial fisheries.
