Telus Communications Inc. Radiocommunication Antenna Addition on Sechelt Band Lands No 2 Reserve, Sechelt BC

TELUS Communications Inc. is proposing the installation of a new antenna on the existing tower structure, for a microwave radio communication link from Sechelt BC to Cawley Point BC in the Sunshine Coast area. The Sechelt system is located on the Sechelt Band Lands No 2 Reserve, and the installation will include a 1.8m diameter microwave antenna mounted at the top of an existing 36m radiocommunication antenna tower. This system will carry  high capacity Ethernet network traffic between the two points using two channels in the 11GHz band.   The existing tower may undergo periodic antenna additions or replacements, as required for any radiocommunication service.
