Radio Tower Upgrades, North Pender Island

Proposed upgrades to the Roe Lake area radio tower on North Pender Island. Work proposed includes upgrading an antenna on the Roe Lake area radio tower and adding a new transmission line that runs from the shelter on site and up the tower. All work will occur within the existing compound. There will be no digging or ground disturbance, no use of chemicals on site, and no use of machinery on site.

This is a future long term upgrade proposed in order to improve receive signal level and network availability. Target timeframe for proponent to undertake work is 2020/2021.
