Her Majesty's Canadian Ship (HMCS) Malahat Jetty and Float Repairs- Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Esquimalt

The Department of National Defence (DND) has proposed a project which involves the design and repairs to the HMCS Malahat Jetty and Floats. Repairs to include the fender systems, timber pile repairs or replacement and the replacement of miscellaneous related structural timbers. Above and below water repairs are required on the marine structures.


Latest update

March 1, 2023 – The public comment period on the project is closed. The authorities are considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
