Cowichan Tribes - Zone 7 Septic Tank Effluent Pumping System

The proposed project includes the installation of approx. 5000m of low pressure sewer collection infrastructure connecting 24 homes located on Cowichan Tribes lands and 1 community building with failing onsite systems to Cowichan Valley Regional District (CVRD) forcemain. The impacted homes within the scope of this project are located on Jimmy Road, Tzouhalem Road, Samuel Road, Sahilton road and Cowichan bay road. The project includes 3 bridge crossings and installation of septic tanks. The implementation of the project will provide a methodology to deal with sewage from affected homes. This will remove the health and environmental risk associated with the current failing systems.
