City of Ottawa Stormwater Management Outfall Rehabilitations

The City of Ottawa is proposing the rehabilitation of six (6) stormwater outfalls at 5 locations within the geographic limits of Ottawa, Ontario that exist within the urban area along the south shore of the Ottawa River. The proposed involves work in both previously disturbed and undisturbed environments. Rehabilitation work will occur on federal lands owned by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and the National Capital Commission.   The rehabilitation of the outfalls is required due to ongoing deterioration associated with their end of life cycle. The works include rehabilitation/replacement of the current stormwater outfalls to the Ottawa River which will improve the overall resiliency of the structures and provide protection from shoreline erosion.
