Reconfiguration of a road of 550 meters, Port of Montreal in Contrecoeur

The proposed project will lead to repairing, widening and improving the drainage of a 550 linear meters road (approximately) whose use is dedicated to the transport of raw materials (iron ore pellets) by truck. This road is located in the Montreal Port Authority territory of Contrecœur.

The purpose of the project is to allow dual circulation, to manage the transport of the iron ore pellets and to improve the safety of truckers. The project will include the repair of the roadway, the redevelopment of ditches and the addition of pipes for water drainage, the installation of an iron ore pellet collection system, the implementation of a permanent retention basin and a hydrodynamic separator for surface water treatment as well as the addition of lighting.
