Canadian Nuclear Laboratories Office Trailer Expansion

Office Trailer Expansion

In order to support the ongoing Waste Management Operations at Canadian Nuclear Laboratories (CNL), Chalk River site, an expansion of an existing modular office trailer space is proposed.  The project activities involve the installation of an additional modular trailer space and necessary supporting infrastructure.

The purpose of this expansion is to create a centralized local where approximately 60 staff of several nearby waste management areas are based.  The physical activities associated with this project will occur on an existing Atomic Energy of Canada site, on approximately 0.25 acres of land that is previously disturbed by past facility operations and will be located on an existing paved area.   The office trailer will be serviced by tying into existing infrastructure, including an existing septic system and service water well that will be expanded to accommodate the additional personnel at this location. .
