Construction of Menin/Montgomery Roundabout- Garrison Petawawa

The Department of National Defence (DND) has proposed a project to improve vehicular access through the main entrance to Garrison Petawawa via Menin Road from Paquette Road and Petawawa Boulevard intersection (Main Gate Frederick Gate) to Montgomery Road and Menin Road Intersection. This project includes widening the road to accommodate up to two vehicle lanes in either direction, reconfiguring the gatehouse security checkpoint, and constructing a traffic circle.

Latest update

February 22, 2024— The Department of National Defence issued its Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
