Construction of a roofed skating rink in Kahnawake

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawake wishes to construct an outdoor skating rink with a roof. The new rink will be located in close proximity to the Kahnawake Sports Complex, at the corner of Sports Complex Road and Blind Ladys Hill Road.  It will allow for the minor sports to have access to two rinks in close proximity for tournaments and festivals and it is close to two day care centers and one elementary school, The new rink will be accessible for programming and educational purposes. The surface area of the new rink will be approximately 1 800 m2
