Land Vehicle Crew Training System, Garrison Petawawa

The Department of National Defence proposes to construct a new building at 4th Canadian Division Support Base Petawawa (Garrison Petawawa). The building will support a virtual training system for the Canadian Army allowing the crews of its principle combat vehicles to train as frequently as required at their home garrison. The proposed Project is planned for Garrison Petawawa, located 170 km northwest of the City of Ottawa, Ontario. The Project site is located on the north side of Warrior Drive, northwest of Building Y-108 (Light Armoured Vehicle Building).


Latest update

August 18, 2020 - The public comment period on the project is closed. The Department of National Defence is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
