YUL Montréal-Trudeau International Airport - Expansion of the Holding Bay of Runway 24L

The project consists of an expansion of the holding bay of Runway 24L which will increase the paved surface by approximately 19,500 m2. The holding bay of Runway 24L is located in the north-easterly area of Runway 06R-24L (South Runway). The work includes the relocation of drinking water and sanitary water pipes as well as the installation of safety equipment and related electrical infrastructure.

Latest update

April 26, 2024 – ADM Aéroports de Montréal issued its Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects by applying the mitigation measures provided for in the project.
