Fuel System Deficiencies Correction

This project consists of correcting deficiencies on the fuel storage tank system (26870L) serving the emergency generator for the Les Terrasses de la Chaudière complex (both interior and exterior components). The project aims to address items outlined in the inspection report dated January 10, 2023.

Examples of deficiencies to correct:

-The spill container outside must be grounded to meet ULC S664 standard (CSA B139).

- The design of the spill container shall allow the truck connection point to be inside the collection basin (CSA B139)

- Modification of piping inside the building: too close to the wall, sleeves to add, shut-off valve to be repositioned, vent manifold to be upsized (CSA B139)

The work will also include the production of Record Drawings/As-Builts that reflect the interior portion of the system and the modifications done to the spill container if needed.  All record drawings must be in compliance with federal regulation SOR/2008-197 (sections 33 and 34).
