Construction of Security Fence - Garrison Petawawa

The Department of National Defence (DND) has proposed a project involving the construction of approximately 3-kilometers of security fence. The security fence will be located along the East side of Garrison Petawawa, more than 30 meters from the Ottawa River.

August 10, 2023— The Department of National Defence issued its Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
