Breaching Range Development in Areas 7 and 8, Range and Training Area, Garrison Petawawa

The two training sites proposed for development will facilitate Canadian Armed Forces Explosive Forced Entry (EFE) breaching techniques. Each site will consist of a 100m x 25m elevated gravel pad and 3 foot by 8 foot high concrete walls which will divide the 100m pad at 25m increments. Each site will be surrounded by a 6 foot high chain link fence.

June 11, 2021— The Department of National Defence issued its Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
