New unloading area for grain hopper trailers

DG CanEst Transit is proposing to build a new unloading area for grain hopper trailers at their facility in the port of Montreal (Section 44). The scope of work includes the installation of a grain dump pit and an underground conveyor.

July 10th, 2020 – The Montreal Port Authority (MPA) has determined that the proposed project New unloading area for grain hopper trailers is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

 

Mitigation measures taken into account for this determination are:

  • Water, soil and air pollution prevention
  • Noise pollution prevention

 

Therefore, the MPA may perform any duty or function to enable the project to be carried out in whole or in part..
