Dismantling of Midatlantic Minerals Inc. facilities

The project consists of dismantling the facilities of Minéraux Midatlantic inc. located behind platform 108 (warehouse, silos, factory, concrete slab, underground pipe, septic tank). All work will be coordinated and supervised by a specialist demolition contractor. Lifting equipment and a crane will be used for the dismantling work. The project has a footprint of approximately 5,000 square meters. It will be carried out during normal working hours, i.e. 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday to Friday. All residual materials from the project will be transported to duly authorized sites outside the port territory. An Environmental Protection Plan (EPP) will be developed to provide specific strategies to avoid and minimize potential negative effects on the environment.
