Maintenance and rehabilitation of ditches - Defence Research and Development Canada, Valcartier

The Department of National Defence (DND) has proposed a project which involves the maintenance and rehabilitation for the ditches in the northern and southern sectors of DRDC -Valcartier, which will include the re-profiling and removal of sediments from the bottom of the ditches in order to restore their original profile. For certain sections, it is planned to excavate to a depth of approximately 30 cm to remove contaminated sediments.


Latest update

August  30, 2021— The Department of National Defence issued its Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
