Expansion of Combat Course - Valcartier Military Base

The Department of National Defence (DND) has proposed a project. The project consists of adding eight new lines (paths) to the existing combat route and its extension as well as new targets. For this expansion, a total of 56 ha will have to be deforested following Unexploded Explosive Ordnance (UXO) clearing work. The work is planned to take place over several years.

Latest update

March 1, 2024— The Department of National Defence issued its Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
