Demolition of the Legros navigation aid structure

The Canadian Coast Guard wishes to demolish the Legros landmark, an aid to navigation located on the north shore of the St. Lawrence River. This ditch is no longer required for navigation. The dismantling of this structure will be done on site, piece by piece, using manual equipment. The concrete bases of the current structure will remain on site. All demolition materials will be recovered and managed according to current regulations. At the end of the work, the site will be restored to a state comparable to that before the work.
