Botsford DFO-SCH Shoreline Protection Upgrade

The project consists of upgrades to the existing shoreline protection structure including placement of additional shoreline protection material (i.e., armour stone) along the outer perimeter of an existing containment cell. The additional shoreline protection material will consist of larger rock material than is currently present, which will better withstand wave action during extreme weather events.

The project will result in a permanent increased footprint of shoreline protection below the high-water mark of approximately 903 m². The project will not involve any changes to existing aids to navigation.
