Construction of Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS) Infrastructure Facility - 14 Wing Greenwood

The Department of National Defence (DND) has determined a requirement to construct infrastructure facilities at 14 Wing Greenwood to support the new Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems Defence (RPAS) capability. The facility will be used to effectively operate, train and maintain the RPAS capability in support of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF). Based on current design plans, the facility will include a 9,939 hangar and 16,000 exterior apron and parking lot. The site location is within the active 14 Wing Greenwood aerodrome. Proposed work will be completed within 30 of a water body (wetland). Schooner Drive is located between the project site and the wetland.
