Levesque Wharf Rebuild - Public Comments Invited

The proposed project entails the replacement and expansion of an existing wharf at 21 Partridge Lane, Bedford Nova Scotia. The existing structure is 3 m wide x 6. 1 m long and supported by a single timber crib. The proposed replacement structure will be 3.7m wide x 9.1 m long, supported by 11 new timber piles, plus a ramp and floating dock section.  In total, the proposed structures will extend 24.4 m out from the shoreline.

Work will be completed from mainly a crane on a barge with pile driving completed at low tide to assist in minimizing potential impacts to shoreline and marine habitats. The project is anticipated to take place during August-September 2023.
