Replacement of an electrical pole in the Cap Tourmente National Wildlife Area

Hydro-Québec plans to carry out maintenance work on the power line located within the Cap Tourmente National Wildlife Area. These works include the replacement of an electrical pole, the reinstallation of conductors, and, if necessary, the replacement of stays as well as their grounding anchors.

Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) intends to determine whether the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. In order to contribute to an informed determination, Environment and Climate Change Canada invites the public to comment on this determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be published online. Written comments should be submitted by December 27, 2023 to : Charles Desrosiers (charles.desrosiers@ec.gc.ca).
