Dock Removal - Georgian Bay Islands National Park

The crib structure for several of our docks has been severely damaged from high water and ice over the past two years. The locations of these docks are Honey Harbour, Tonch South and Tonch East and one dock in Frying Pan Bay. These docks are unusable and a safety concern. Removal of the dock and cribs will be done through contract using a barge with excavator. The complete structure will be removed including the wooden frame and large stones within the crib. New docks for these locations are in the planning phase and will come under a separate assessment.
