Wharf Demolition, Burin, NL

DFO, Real Property Safety Security (RPSS) is proposing to remove the current wharf to make way for the construction of a new wharf and redeveloped uplands. Demolition of the existing wharf will include removal of the concrete deck, cribbing, concrete gravity wall, floating side dock, uplands pavement, and uplands fill. The new structure will sit in the existing footprint. Construction of the new wharf will include seven blocks of timber cribbing, a reinforced concrete deck, wheel guards, dock cleats, fenders, and ladders.
