Mt. Stephen Trail Reroute

Parks Canada proposes to reroute approximately 1 km of the bottom of the Mt. Stephen Quarry trail. The current trail is in poor condition due to severe geotechnical and erosion issues. To create a permanent solution for the ongoing erosion issues, Parks Canada plans to procure a contractor to move the trail from the south side of Stephen Creek to the north side where less erosion potential exists. The current trail will be decommissioned.
