ToB - Moose Street Sidewalk Upgrade

Town of Banff is proposing sidewalk improvement program to replace and upgrade existing sidewalks or add new sidewalks that will run along the north side of Moose Street between Banff Ave and Muskrat Street. The purpose of proposed work is to improve the active transportation. The scope of work includes demolition of existing infrastructure, removal of trees, relocation of streetlights and constructions of sidewalks. The work is planned to start in late May or early June 2024 and anticipated to be completed by summer 2024 or 2025.

December 9, 2023 – The public comment period on the project is closed. Parks Canada is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
