Town of Banff Jasper Way to Cave Ave Commuter Trail

The Town of Banff is proposing to build a formalized trail connection between Jasper Way and Cave Ave. The finished trail would be ~1.5m wide and ~150m in length. The trail surface would consist of crushed and compacted gravels. Cut and fill methods will be used to create a uniform trail surface and grade. Existing unofficial trails in that area will be incorporated, where reasonably possible, into the new trail alignment. A key objective of the project is to provide commuter access to Middle Springs from downtown that can be used in conjunction with the new pedestrian bridge that is currently being built between Central Park and the Recreation Grounds across the Bow River.
