Dakota Women's Lodge (Winyan Tipi)

Dakota Plains will construct an environmentally-conscious women's lodge to serve as a focal point for healing, land-based programming, and self-empowerment. The lodge will be approximately 2900 square feet, and will include an open meeting space, small meeting rooms, kitchen and outdoor traditional cultural space.

December 15, 2023 – Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada (CIRNAC) issued its Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
