New electrical service to existing building at 80 Hangar Line Road

Winnipeg Airports Authority must determine whether the proposed installation of new electrical service to an existing building at Winnipeg Richardson International Airport (YWG), located in Winnipeg, Manitoba is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, Winnipeg Airports Authority is inviting comments from the public until January 29, 2023 respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

 

The Proposed Project

Manitoba Hydro proposes to undertake the installation of new electrical service including transformation to customer owned service enclosure at Winnipeg Richardson International Airport. The project area is on developed lands. The project will provide additional capacity to the existing electrical service for an existing building at 80 Hangar Line Road. Work includes primary underground electrical installation work on the street right of way and will be carried out by Manitoba Hydro.
