Siksika Nation Community Centre

Siksika Nation is planning to build a community centre in Cluny, Alberta. It is to be built at the site of the former Crowfoot School. The community center is to contain a gymnasium, offices, multipurpose rooms, kitchen, meeting rooms, a cultural room and a lobby with community boards. In addition to the community center, some features of the future site may also include a space for powwows and ceremony, fire pits, baseball diamond(s), gathering spaces, memorials, an ice rink, playgrounds, a skateboard park, and a maintenance shop. The facility is also proposed to host local artist murals, childcare services, events, and Blackfoot cultural and language programs.
