Crooks Meadows Stream Dredging

This project involves the removal of debris from a seasonal, non-fish bearing stream channel near Crooks Meadows Group Campground. The channel is currently blocked with debris and sediment, causing flooding and damage to the campground access road. Excavated material will either be used on site to reinforce the stream banks or transported off site. The channel will be dredged approximately 152 meters upstream from the access road. Work will be completed while the stream is not running (i.e. in the dry), and the excavator will enter and exit the stream bed from where it transects the road. The access road must also be repaired in order to re-open the group campground to the public.
