Eskasoni 100mm Waterline Abandonment

The project will include the decommissioning and abandonment of a 100mm diameter cast iron watermain in Eskasoni, NS. Approximately 140 new water service lines will need to be installed to connect existing dwellings to an existing 200mm PVC watermain and disconnect them from the 100mm main. There will also be approximately one kilometer of new watermains installed. Site preparation activities include trenching, excavation, horizontal drilling, clearing, grubbing and site reinstatement. The total project footprint will extend over 4.3 km within the road corridor and adjacent, primarily developed areas.
