Meteorological Equipment Installation on the Airfield at CFB Bagotville

Environment and Climate Change Canada want to set up a weather station in the CFB Bagtoville airfield area. The work involves, but is not limited to, excavation work for a concrete base construction, trenches for the electrical connections, the poles and guy wires installation. Soil will be disposed offsite as part of the work and a soil characterization will take place to determine the appropriate management method according to the applicable regulations.

September 1, 2022— The authorities issued the Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
