Weather Radar and Building B278 demolition- Canadian Forces Base Bagotville

The Department of National Defence (DND) has proposed a project which involves demolishing some facilities at the Lac Castor weather station in the Monts Valin. The work involves, more specifically, dismantling a weather radar and its steel structure approximately 18 meters high; to demolish a trailer with an area of approximately 45 square meters; removing various concrete components (0.9 cubic meter slab and several foundations totaling 4.1 cubic meters); to level the ground using an excavator and to dispose of all materials, equipment and hazardous or contaminated materials in authorized sites. Note that the weather radar is the property of Environment and Climate Change Canada and that support will be provided by them to properly dismantle this equipment.
