Installation of Interpretive Panels for an Underwater Pathway at the Marine Environment Discovery Centre

The Saguenay-St. Lawrence Marine Park plans to install underwater interpretive panels for divers for education and promotion purposes at the Marine Environment Discovery Centre (MEDC) located in Les Escoumins. The panels will be located within the boundaries of the Saguenay-St. Lawrence Marine Park.

The project consists of the installation of 6 to 9 panels measuring approximately 11'' x 14''. They will be submerged along a pathway running from West Creek to Anemone Bay via East Creek. The panels will be installed at a depth of approximately 30 feet and will be anchored by two diving weights placed on the seabed.
