Parking Lot Expansion and Re-pavement at Postal Service (PS) Georgetown, ON

Canada Post is proposing to expand the existing parking lot and re-pave the existing driveway and parking to ease congestion at the PS Georgetown Post Office, located in Georgetown, Ontario. The project will expand the existing parking lot by approximately 1100 m2 and will be used for employee and operational parking. The expansion area is currently occupied by mowed grass and is located on the north, northeast and southeast sides of the building. The work will include removal of the existing grassed areas and converting into an asphalt driveway and parking lot. The work will also include the resurfacing of 1130 m2 of existing asphalt surfaces on the west side of the building as well as removal and levelling of a concrete ramp. In addition, the work involves the installation of new catch basins, manholes and a stormceptor which  direct collected surface water to the existing drainage system (storm sewer). Furthermore, two existing parking spaces (with an area of 9 m2) on the south side of the building will be removed and will be converted into landscaped areas.
