Thorold ready-mix concrete plant

Rankin Precast Inc. (a division of Rankin Construction Inc.) is proposing to construct a new ready-mix plant at 1134 Old Thorold Stone Road in Thorold, Ontario (the Plant). Rankin's Construction division has operated a materials storage yard on this property for the last 42 years. The Plant will produce up to 130 cubic meters/hr of various grades of concrete. The Plant will operate year-round with regular hours of operation between 6:00 am – 6:00 pm Monday through Friday and summertime hours will include Saturday 6:00am – 4:00pm.
The ready-mix plant will consist of 3 silos that will store cement and cement supplements, aggregate and sand stockpiles, a conveyor to load the aggregates to the bins, internal aggregate and sand loading bins, weigh hoppers, a dust collector, and a loading point for transferring the materials to the ready-mix truck.
