Non-Passenger Screening for Vehicles - North

Non-Passenger Screening Vehicle (NPSV) facility for screening all vehicles entering the critical restricted area will be built in the northeastern portion of Toronto Pearson Airport. It will be located on the northeast quadrant of the North Service Road and the Vista Cargo Service Road. The project includes a one-storey slab-on-grade 200 m squared building for security screening and a 700m squared covered area for vehicle inspection, plus six parking spaces. Connection to required utilities (electrical, water, sanitary etc.) will also be undertaken. 


Latest update

May 30th, 2022 – The public comment period on the project is closed. The Greater Toronto Airports Authority is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
