Storage Tank Installation - Canadian Food Inspection Agency's Inspection station - Port-aux-Basques, Newfoundland

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is planning to install a new 13 600L aboveground storage tank (AST) at the inspection station located at the Marine Atlantic Ferry Terminal in Port-aux-Basque, Newfoundland. The tank will be located on the East side of the building, resting on a concrete pad and surrounded by bollards. The tank will provide fuel to the 2 existing 100HP boilers located in the basement of the inspection station to heat the building. This project is necessary because the two tanks currently in use have reached the end of their useful life.
