Construct Hazardous Waste Storage Facility - Garrison Wainwright

The Department of National Defence (DND) has proposed construction of a new facility for storage and transfer of hazardous waste materials at Garrison Wainwright. The facility will include both indoor and outdoor storage areas and access to waste fuel/oil/glycol tanks. The project also includes renovations to the interior of an existing building (B465) which provides office space and storage of petroleum products.


Latest update

June 11, 2024 - The public comment period on the project is closed. The Department of National Defence is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
