Whitecap Dakota First Nation Sewage Pumping Station 3

Whitecap Dakota Fisrt Nation is proposing a new sewage pumping station and 3 km of 200 mm force main. The station will have capacity of 19 L/s (10 year pumping rate) and 20-30 year life span for other building components. The station will have a cast in place concrete substructure approximately 6 meters deep with masonry block exterior and prefinished metal roof. Total area required will be approximately 400 square meters for construction. The Project required to mitigate flooding and sewage backup within basement of existing homes.
The proposed project will consist of a new 8.35 x 6.10 m building with concrete wet pit complete with 40 m of 200 and 250 mm diameter sewer mains and 3.2 km of 200 mm diameter force main. A new gas service to accommodate back-up power generation and electrical lines will be completed to service the building.
