Kapawe'no Adventure Trail Project

The proposed project is to add two new trail loops and create a multi-use trail for year round use. The multi-use trail is to be used year-round with the intention that people have access to and will benefit from safe, supportive infrastructure in the Community.

Project works include:

  • 6 km of multi-use paths, 3 m in width;
  • 8 bike racks/lockers;
  • 10 benches; and
  • 130 lights.

2023-05-05 – The public comment period on the project is closed. Infrastructure Canada is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
